Treatments
Treatments will effectively help to reduce the depth of wrinkles, rid fine
lines, fade age spots, reduce acne breakouts, and improve appearance of skin.
There are 5 steps involved in every treatment we do.
Step 1: You will be
cleansed with a deep cleanser or glycolic wash.
Step 2: You will be
exfoliated by dermabrasion, pure enzyme or dermaplaning (scalpel). Facial hair
may be removed upon request.
Step 3: A chemical
will be applied. We will determine what type to use depending on the needs of
your skin, how much repair you need and also the amount of side effects you are
willing to experience. (Redness and peeling).
Step 4: Neutralizing
of the skin and calming down of tissue.
Step 5: Application
of a vitamin to the skin depending on the type of treatment you have received.
With these treatments and home care you may experience a tight, dry feeling.
This does not mean your skin is dry. This is your collagen and elasticity
building in your skin along with exfoliation. If you are concerned we will check
your hydration and moisture contents with a special digital probe that reads
your moisture level.
*Note: This is not a facial. This is a process of removing damage and
building your skin's base. Procedures only take 15-20 minutes. If there is
a lot of pampering and rubbing of the skin during the use of these chemicals
there will be more inflammation than necessary. For patients who want to have
facials, you may do so between treatments.
